How being outside cured me... I think?

Hi, remember me?
Long time no blog, I know. I've been go go go since a little before school ended, and things are finally settling down, I think. Looking back on it, I didn't really do much, but I had no chance to take time for myself, whether it was to deal with personal things or to just get back into the routine of home life. I also felt like I was lacking inspiration. For so long, I wanted to write a new post and every time I sat down to write, I didn't know what to say. I get overwhelmed really easily, and I let it cripple me, which I'm working on. But it does take a while for me to get back to being 100%.
What really motivated me to come back to my blog after my "hiatus" was being outside. I just moved closer to the beach, which was a big adjustment for me (AKA overwhelming). Now that it's summer, I've been getting outside more, by either going to the beach or pool. Honestly, sometimes the most I get outside is when my windows are rolled down in the car.
Now if you know me, the outdoors has never been my scene. But lately when I am outside, I feel happier and like a weight is being lifted off my shoulders.

Maybe it's the sun, or maybe seeing new faces out and about, but I really do believe that being outside has helped me in a tremendous way. I don't know what this post really is (hehe), but I guess I just wanted to say that sometimes the smallest things can really reduce your stress level, like going outside for a little while. And if you don't believe me, psychology has proved it yo! All in all, I feel like I'm finally getting my groove back. So expect some more posts from me coming this summer. I'm so looking forward to it.
If you have anything you want to see me post about on here, or if you just want to chat, you know where to reach me! Thanks for stopping by! Laters,
Gaby XO
